To win Lulu’s love back, Charlie sought jobs in order to buy himself a new car.
Some of these jobs he worked as...
...a police officer
...a painter
...a teacher
Charlie: A is for Audi
Charlie: B is for BMW
Charlie: C is for Car
...and as a street musician
Charlie: All I ever wanted was for you to know. Everything I'd do I'd give my heart and soul.
Haha. How sweet.
ReplyDeletehow is that sweet? that b*tch Lulu didn't want him because he didn't have a car. Now he's tiring himself out just to satisfy her. She's not even worth it.
DeleteHe's sweet in a naive way.
Deleteah. so you meant Charlie being sweet. I thought you thought the story was sweet. haha
DeleteWhy does this guy equate having a car the way to be deserving of this girl? Just beginning and the relationship already starts in the wrong foot.
ReplyDeleteyou should have read the previous episodes of this comic. Charlie was rejected by Lulu because he didn't have a car. They didn't have a relationship. What's worse, his bestfriend stole his crush away from him. This is one of the memes by Bisaya/Cebuano speaking people of "Naa kay car?" ("Do you have a car?") where a girl asks a guy if he has a car in order for them to have a relationship. and yeah, Lulu doesn't deserve charlie for that because she's such a bitch.
DeleteReally sweet :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a relationship, you're supposed to work together so you can get all the things you want. Not let the guy do all the work. I hate that mindset.
ReplyDeleteactually he got rejected by the girl. that's why he's doing all of this, to get her love and acceptance, to make her say yes.
DeleteOn one end, it can be a good thing of Charlie trying to do everything to prove his love for Lulu. The question though, why would Lulu accept him only if he has a car? It often happens in real life and that's the sad part.
ReplyDeletethe question do you have a car? (naa kay car?)is a meme going on in the philippines where a girl asks a guy for a car for them to go out. i just really i think this meme is funny so I made a comic related to it.
DeleteHahaha I wish Charlie is my boyfriend. ;) But really, if I want a car, I'd go buy one for myself. Or work together with my bf to get one for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteNice comics animation. It's a sweet gesture to really try to work or work harder to impress someone.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely comics animation and surely kids will adore this one.
ReplyDeleteYour post is a relief of the articles I have been reading lately. This is cute or maybe not. If she really loves him, there is no need for a car!!
ReplyDeletecharlie got rejected. the question do you have a car? (naa kay car?)is a meme going on in the philippines where a girl asks a guy for a car for them to go out. i just really i think this meme is funny so I made a comic related to it.
DeleteI don't think I've seen the others, but is Charlie just saving for a car because of an ex? If so then Charlie needs to forget about the ex and get a car for himself.
ReplyDeleteno, not an ex. he was rejected for not having a car, so he's saving for one so he could get her to say yes. and yes, the girl's not worth it.
DeleteI have not followed previous episodes but looks like a fun read. The boy seems to love the girl a lot.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!! He's so sweet. Hope he gets the car and the gal!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute comic! Hope Charlie gets the girl haha! :D
ReplyDeleteI'd call him Akpos - funny lad!!
ReplyDeleteThis is typical for shallow materialistic girls, to dump a guy just because he doesn't have a car. I hope the comic has a better ending, he deserves better.
ReplyDeleteOh Lulu, Charlie doesn't need a car to make you the luckiest girl in the world! I think Charlie needs to find another girl! :D
ReplyDeleteThe music surprised me, I'm listening to the song "Your song" :)
ReplyDeleteAlthough it doesn't exactly fit your comic, but your comic is talking about love too! :)
Awww this was sweet!
ReplyDeleteLoved the teacher one. I'm sure that, if I'd find auto brand names for all the letters of the alphabet, my son will be very pleased!
ReplyDeleteHmmm.. the girl should not be so materialistic. Perhaps it not love and the guy also should not do all these just to impressed the girls with car.
ReplyDeletethis is great! i never had thought about things this way.. im glad i read this post..i remember myself from before i kinda feel the same hha
ReplyDeleteYou should post the first part of this comic story you have here. I love reading this kind of a post. It reminds me of my HS life when we are assigned to make a comic story like this, and we have to be creative that we must convey our audiences of our story at the end.
ReplyDeleteI did post the first part. You can see it in the older posts in my blog ;)
