Episode 4: Archie breaks up with Lulu
Archie: Hey Lulu,
Lulu: Yes, Archie?
Archie: I heard Charlie got a job.
Lulu: Oh yeah?
Archie: You know, he’s doing all these stuff for you and you fail to see it. Charlie's my bestfriend y'know, and I'm his bestfriend.
Lulu: What are you talking about?
Archie: I don't think we should do this anymore. We should break up.
Lulu: Archie, don't do this. I love you.
Archie: Goodbye, Lulu.
Lulu: (I shouldn't have let him read that magazine.)
Lulu: Yes, Archie?
Archie: I heard Charlie got a job.
Lulu: Oh yeah?

I have shown this to my son and he loved it so much. These comics are so beautiful way for kids to connect with this little world.

ReplyDeleteI may need to read back on how it all started, but it seems like Archie is a good guy after all! And Lulu, well, my opinion of her hasn't changed... yet. We'll see!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what happened before this episode. It seems such a bitter event, yet Lulu is not really reacting as I would expect.
ReplyDeleteWhy did they break up? Hahah, by the way, I realised that for your comic, Archie and Lulu are the names of the cartoon characters from different titles!

ReplyDeleteLulu seemed to have failed to see all the efforts by Charlie. Good thing Archie values his friendship and he has seen what kind of person Lulu is.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm assuming that Charlie used to be with Lulu. Seems like Archie has the right idea. It's just wrong to date your best friends ex.
